It was a break to celebrate the welcoming of spring. Leo Carrillo State Park- in Malibu was a beach I had yet to venture. Everyone tells me west coast beaches are beautiful, and this one caught me by surprise. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The beach was quite rocky to say the least but it didn't keep the surfers away from the waves. We arrived early into a thick fog that engulfed the coast. Zombie like silhouettes lingered in the low tied. In search for what, we did not know, but soon too found our selves joining them. Submerged within the mossy green rocks, small creatures behind their shells scurried passed our toes. Noon then came lifting the grey overcast and all the families came out onto the sun cover beach.
